Rittal now offer suppliers of systems housed in enclosures going into extremely cold environments a 1kW heating solution with the ability to work in environments down to -33C The new heating system, available off the shelf, measures only 325W x 85H x 225D (mm), weighs only 2.3kg and comes with approvals including CE, CUL, and UL
Originally conceived for outdoor telecommunication applications involving large enclosures its success and reliability in subsequent smaller applications involving both the prevention of cold temperatures and high humidity within smaller enclosures has proven to be unquestionable.
