Best fire protection for modern server
enclosures

The new Rittal Detection-Active extinguishing system, which can be mounted directly in a 19 inch rack, provides the earliest possible detection of fire sources

The new Rittal Detection-Active (DET-AC) extinguishing system, which can be mounted directly in a 482.6mm (19 inch) rack, provides the earliest possible detection of fire sources In the pyrolysis phase, through smoke analysis via an active air intake system, DET-AC can continuously monitor the air in the protected enclosure for smoke aerosols via an active air intake system

The 3 U high DET-AC can monitor and extinguish a fire in up to two racks when used in conjunction with the Rittal server cooling solution 'Liquid Cooling Package', with the extinguishing gas being distributed back to the rack via a distribution system.

Power can also be cut off from the defective enclosure to prevent the fire from spreading.

Additional safety levels, from the triggering of alarms to activating the fire extinguishing system guarantee the highest safety standard for IT infrastructures.

Using the Rittal CMC-TC monitoring system, warning alarms, faults or extinguishing operations can be reported directly over the network (SNMP, SMS or e-mail, etc).

FM200 is the standard extinguishing gas with others available optionally. Request a free brochure from Rittal ...
