Rittal TopTherm cooling units now offer a new dimension in targeted cooling with new internal air circulation designs.

The roof-mounted versions accommodate a new unique and very effective air targeting system.

Using one central intake and four individual 'jet' style outlets, the air is forced down the corners of the enclosure or, using special ducting, transported to enclosure hot spots.

The ducting also allows users to target cool air into the air inlets of the fans located inside installed equipment such as inverters, servos, and servers.

The innovative design of the external air circuit on roof-mounted units allows enclosures to be bayed together, even when two cooling units are located close together side by side, as the external exhaust air has three escape routes.

If either one or two exhaust outlets are restricted, the remaining outlet will still allow the cooling unit to function optimally.

The Rittal TopTherm range, which incorporates features such as fault diagnostics, door switch control, and PLC connection, range between 300W and 4000W and are available as either a roof mounted or wall mounted versions.

Accessories such as master-slave connections, door switches, and diagnostic software are stocked extensively, and available off the shelf.
