To ensure that cooling output is provided even in an emergency, Rittal offer a number of options.
These include the use of a double pumping set, a twin-condenser or two independent cooling circuits, distribution of the cooling output over two separate units or connecting a third, partial redundant unit.
Full redundancy can be achieved by using a second recooling system with full operational scope that can be switched on in the event of a disturbance.
By using a series-connected free-cooling unit, part of the process heat can be transferred directly to the outside air thereby reducing running time and therefore costs.
