Software eases motor control design

A Rittal product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Nov 28, 2008

Rittal has developed a software tool to ease the specification and design of motor control centres, allowing drawings and parts lists to be achieved within minutes.

Rittal power engineering software can produce drawings of any Form 4-type panel, which incorporate the front-view general arrangement and the internal view, including details such as mounting plates and busbars.

The software will also specify the individual component parts required, so that quick and effortless order placement can be achieved.

Any modifications or additions required at a later date are quickly accommodated and easily exported as a dwg file.

Completed drawings and parts lists can be exported into an Excel spreadsheet.

For engineers involved in the pricing of projects, this is easily incorporated, allowing quotes to be generated within seconds.
