Handling company puts ATEX safety first
Key staff at handling technology specialist Geo Robson have completed training to ensure compliance with ATEX 137, to allow them to work on-site when potentially at risk from explosive atmospheres
Delivered by Sira Test and Certification, the three-day course equipped managers and technical staff who work on-site with the knowledge necessary to ensure the safety of themselves and others in accordance with the UK Health and Safety Executive Dangerous Substances and Explosives Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR) The training complements the Robson compliance with the ATEX 95 regulations concerning equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres
