Drive for aggressive industrial environments
Rockwell Automation introduces an IP66 rated version of the popular PowerFlex 70 AC drive, for use in harsh industrial environments, protecting against high-pressure water spray, corrosion and dust
Rated from 132 kW to 250 kW at 400 and 480 volts, it is designed to meet OEM and end-user demands for precise, reliable and cost-effective motor control in high-power applications.
The 700H is the latest addition to the Allen-Bradley PowerFlex family, a comprehensive line of AC drives ranging from 0.25 to 6700 kW.
Ideal for applications that demand accurate open-loop speed regulation, the PowerFlex 700H offers high-performance motor control for applications such as fans, pumps, conveyors, mixers, crushers, bark strippers, centrifuges, stamping presses and extruders.
For application flexibility, users can configure the PowerFlex 700H for volts-per-hertz or sensorless vector control.
Standard I/O options include 24V or 115V digital I/O plus analogue I/O for added flexibility.
Pull-apart control terminal blocks simplify the I/O wiring making the drive quick and easy to install.
The modular power structure and standardised packaging allow users to reduce maintenance and stockholding, and as the 700H shares the same operating platform as many other Allen-Bradley products, it provides instant compatibility and reduced training requirements.
Networks, operator interface, programming and communication hardware are common throughout the entire PowerFlex family of AC drives.
Advanced communications allow the user to easily integrate the PowerFlex 700H drive into the manufacturing process using NetLinx communication options, including DeviceNet, ControlNet and EtherNet/IP networks.
Allen-Bradley DriveExecutive and DriveTools SP software tools ease programming, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting.
Like all products within the PowerFlex family of drives, the 700H meets worldwide power ratings, packaging requirements and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) criteria.
They are CSA/cUL Certified, UL-Listed, and CE-Marked. Request a free brochure from Rockwell Automation ...
