Rockwell Automation has announced its 2004/2005 training schedule, which includes a number of new courses covering recently introduced Allen-Bradley hardware and Rockwell Software RSBizWare plant management software New courses for the coming 12 months include maintenance of control systems based on the latest Allen-Bradley ControlLogix Logix5550 controller and operation and maintenance of the PanelView Plus range of intelligent HMIs

Options available range from a fast-track accelerated learning course in PLC maintenance for high level technicians to training in maintenance of control systems involving motion applications or DeviceNet networks.

The introduction of Rockwell Software's next generation of SCADA packages RSView Machine Edition and Supervisory Edition, has also led to the development of training specifically on these products.

Courses include building RSView ME projects for PanelView Plus and developing RSView SE projects using RSView Studio.

RSBizWare is a suite of powerful plant monitoring and management tools that help manufacturers understand and improve the performance of machinery.

Training courses now available include configuration and application of RSBizWare RSSql, Plantmetrics, Historian and Scheduler.

Training can take place at fully-equipped training centre in Sutton Coldfield, at its training partners' sites around the country or at customers' own sites.

Investment in efficient manufacturing systems will not yield its full value if engineers, operators and maintenance staff are not properly trained.

Professionally delivered, structured training can improve the utilisation and performance of installed systems, and reduce companies' dependence on maintenance contractors.

As well as a full range of industrial automation, manufacturing software and control systems training courses, Rockwell Automation offers a set of complementary skills audit and assessment services.

These include a Training Needs Analysis to identify an organisation's training requirements, and a Post Training Assessment to ensure delegates achieve the required skill levels. Request a free brochure from Rockwell Automation ...
