All the industrial process fluid filters and media manufactured by Rosedale Products Europe are described in detail in the company catalogue, but an additional section should be of interest to engineers when specifying filtration equipment to best match their particular process.

If the wetted items of the filter are not compatible with the process fluid, unwanted events will certainly occur.

It is to assist with compatibility issues that the Technical Data Section has been compiled.

In the main list, a total over 300 industrial fluids are shown in alphabetical order and against each one, the various materials used by Rosedale in the manufacture of housings, seals and media are judged to be 'Recommended', 'Fair', or 'Not recommended'.

Factors of temperature and pressure are also discussed.

To assist further with selection, other tables show the viscosity of common liquids measured in cps and the converted equivalents in other viscosity measurements.

Finally, there is an appreciation of particle sizes when expressed as microns and a comparison with other denominations of measurement.
