John Fallon, IT manager for Europe and Asia, Schenectady, comments: "Having reviewed the market, it was clear that we required a niche ERP provider with extensive experience in the process manufacturing space.
From an early stage we built strong relationships with the team at Ross and felt confident that the iRenaissance solution would be a good fit with our business.
The system is extremely user friendly - so much so that we didn't need to use all of our allocated consultancy days.
And we're already benefiting from being able to provide more accurate and timely information which will enable better decisions and planning.
We now have the capabilities to conduct business over the internet and utilise customer portals to deliver higher levels of customer service, which is fundamental for our future growth".
Steve Baxter, managing director of Ross, comments: "We are delighted to be working with Schenectady and welcome them to our growing number of chemical customers in the process manufacturing space.
We're very much enjoying working on such a global project and believe that iRenaissance will equip Schenectady with the competitive advantage that is required in the increasingly aggressive global markets it operates in".
The solution will be rolled out in Germany, China, Switzerland, the US and Canada over the next 18 months.
