For example, Muis Controls in Canada is a major distributor for Platon GMT metal tube flowmeters.
Close co-operation between the engineers at Muis Controls and the Roxspur UK manufacturing operation has ensured that all Platon equipment supplied through Muis Controls into the Canadian oil and gas, refining and petro-chemical industries carries the necessary Canadian CRN pressure certification and markings.
Custom high-pressure meters and Hastelloy bodied units have been produced for special requirements on offshore platforms, calibrated to suit the customer requirements.
Recognising the success of the Platon threaded metal tube meters in the European market, Muis Controls also encouraged the development of the Platon GMT flowmeter with NPT threaded connections on 0.5, 1 and 2 inch meters, both brass and stainless steel, which have now been well received in Canadian and US applications.
Further Roxspur distributors are established across many other countries in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, but new instrumentation distributors are welcomed, particularly where there is the potential to configure or develop specific products to satisfy a market opportunity.
