The brandshop is a project arising from a paradox that the organisations could see developing in the market place - manufacturing needing to develop in areas such as reducing waste, minimising downtime and lowering the overall cost of ownership, yet key manufacturing personnel having less time to assimilate the benefits that automation technology has to offer in response to these pressures.
It was felt that any solution would need to.
* use multi-media channels to effectively select and choose the right product.
* offer a richness of content.
* give ease and speed of access, wherever and whenever required.
Customers can now go on to the award winning RS website and get information on the latest Omron technology, including technical features, with benefits illustrated by animated demonstrations.
There will be quarterly updates of new Omron products on the brandshop from a broad range including relays, sensors, drives, PLCs, HMIs, process and temperature controllers.
