This event kicks off the partnership between RS and ABB, enabling customers to see some of the 3,000 ABB product lines now available through RS Components.
"We're pulling out all the stops for this event to make customers fully aware of the benefits they can derive from the RS and ABB brands working together," says Dave Evans, UK Account Manager for RS within ABB: "As well as the technology trailer and examples of our key products, there will also be ABB experts on hand to offer advice and discuss equipment needs".
The partnership makes available an "extended" range of ABB low voltage products, encompassing distribution, line protection, switching and control equipment.
These sit alongside a core range of DIN rail connectors, interface and electronics, time delay relays, signal conditioning, enclosures, surge protection products, switch mode power supplies and industrial drives which are also available through RS.

With the creation of the partnership, customers can count on ABB products being available as and when they need them through all of the RS channels including its famous catalogue and its network of Trade Counters and Call and Collect outlets located nationwide.
The open day will take place at the RS trade counter in Birmingham (B8 1AP), starting at 0930 and finishing at 1530.
