RS Hydro has been appointed as the leading UK distributor for the GE Sensing Panametrics range of ultrasonic flow meters, including all portable, fixed and spool piece systems

RS Hydro is a specialist in the application and supply of non-invasive and clamp-on flowmeters, and has served the environmental, process and hydrocarbon industries for more than 10 years The company is a full-service provider offering installation, commissioning, flow meter rental, flow meter calibration and service contracts

Under the new partnership with GE Sensing, RS Hydro will offer the extensive array of Panametrics wetted and clamp-on flowmeters and process control instrumentation and systems.

These include the PT878 portable liquid flowmeter, which measures flow from outside plastic, metal or concrete-lined pipes non-intrusively, and the PT878GC portable, clamp-on unit for ultrasonic gas flow measurement.

Both instruments feature built-in data loggers with storage capacities of up to 100,000 data points.

Also available from RSHydro are the Panametrics DF868 and the AT868, both of which are suitable for fluids such as raw sewage, slurries and wastewaters, while the XMT868 liquid flow transmitter is contained within an explosion-proof housing, and is used for applications in hazardous areas..
