Using the new portable Panametrics gas flowmeter
RS Hydro have recently acquired the latest portable ultrasonic gas flowmeter from Panametrics: the Transport PT878GC, reported to be the only portable, clamp-on flowmeter for ultrasonic gas flow
Under the new partnership with GE Sensing, RS Hydro will offer the extensive array of Panametrics wetted and clamp-on flowmeters and process control instrumentation and systems.
These include the PT878 portable liquid flowmeter, which measures flow from outside plastic, metal or concrete-lined pipes non-intrusively, and the PT878GC portable, clamp-on unit for ultrasonic gas flow measurement.
Both instruments feature built-in data loggers with storage capacities of up to 100,000 data points.
Also available from RSHydro are the Panametrics DF868 and the AT868, both of which are suitable for fluids such as raw sewage, slurries and wastewaters, while the XMT868 liquid flow transmitter is contained within an explosion-proof housing, and is used for applications in hazardous areas..
"GE Sensing chose to partner with RS Hydro because of their team's well-established high level of expertise and service across our customer base in the UK" explained Andrew Priestley, distribution manager at GE Sensing.
