We are hoping that five minutes may be all it takes for people to have a new vision of how flexible automation, integrated into their processes, could release extra capacity, reduce waste and even help improve product quality," says David Bradford.
The initial questionnaire could lead to visitors being offered the RTS free Appetite for Automation Audit - a new and innovative assessment process to help uncover untapped potential through integrating robotics in packaging production.
The audit process has been developed by RTS, prompted by findings of 2006 research which raised concerns that manufacturers were failing to see the potential of automation to achieve cost reductions and boost profits.
RTS is a leading automation integrator and will have two separate robotic demonstrations on stand to illustrate its capabilities in providing value-added, flexible and bespoke solutions for picking, packing and palletising applications.
An ABB IRB 340 Flexpicker will demonstrate high-speed pick and place robotics.

Also on-stand will be a Staubli TX40 robot, demonstrating sterile cleaning in place and wash-down procedures, meeting exacting standards for the most demanding hygiene environments.
David Bradford, managing director of RTS Flexible Systems said: "The returns on investment that automation and robotics can achieve in packaging production is often underestimated and project leaders can have difficulty in presenting a robust justification to those holding the purse strings.
Our Five Minute ROI Check is a quick and easy check-up for TOTAL visitors as part of the RTS "It takes vision" theme.
