Rugged Technologies of Corsham, Wiltshire announce the Short Rack PIV 2.8GHz model G2 in the 7586 range of Industrial Computers designed for reliable operation in tough environments and process critical applications.

This is a 4U with only 421 mm depth.

With Memory up to 4GB DDR SDRAM on four DIMM sockets, and options of removable hard disk drive, internal UPS, fan and temperature monitoring.

The G2 also has 6 PCI slots and Ethernet 10BASE-T/100BAXE-TX.

The model G2 is designed for 24/7 reliable round the clock operation and is suited to those applications where space is a premium.
