Acetic acid technology plant opened in
Yanbu
HRH Governor of Medinah District launched breakthrough acetic acid technology at Ibn Rushd complex in Yanbu, in opening ceremony on 24 May, after major SABIC R and D development project
On 24 May 2005, His Royal Highness Prince Mogran Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor, Medinah District led the ceremony held by SABIC for the launch of their newly Research and Technology developed acetic acid technology plant which will be used by the SABIC affiliated Company, the Ibn Rushd affiliate in Yanbu HH Prince Saud Ibn Abdullah Ibn Thunayan Al-Saud, Chairman, Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu and Chairman, Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) welcomed HRH Governor, Medinah District and praised his continuous support to SABIC and its industries at Yanbu Industrial City to achieve its national objectives
He pointed out that this support is typical of the kind of attention SABIC and the production sector receives from the Saudi government.
HE Mohamed Al-Mady, SABIC Vice Chairman and CEO reaffirmed that SABIC and its affiliates are honoured by this Royal patronage.
