Sandretto UK sees a trend in UK plastics towards the complete automation of moulding shops.
This has been partly prompted by the complexities of available labour and the costs of recruiting, organising and training such labour as is available to moulders.
Current Sandretto UK automation projects for clients include; automated hot foil printing of moulded plastic baskets; automated hot foil printing of a 240 litre 'wheely bin' product and several projects involving the automated applications of barcodes to plastic products.
Sandretto UK robots are manufactured and supplied by Dal Maschio in Italy.
