'Our Greenbox-supplied system employs an airblast free cooler.
It is closed loop and so needs little maintenance - unlike traditional cooling towers.

Temperature Control - don't skimp the quality
Temperature control equipment used on cooling systems for moulding machinery is vital to the performance of the whole process, and is just one example of how attention to such detail is important
Easing the handling of plastics materials
Manual loading of polymeric material into a machine hopper manually is now clearly recognised as not advisable due to the risk of injury to the person charged with this task: Sandretto has the answer
The free cooler blasts air through a heat exchanger.
In the winter months this cools the water to a few degrees above ambient temperature and can save thousands of pounds over conventional systems.
The investment is modest,' adds Whitlam.
'The customer typically requires an automatic three-way valve; airblast free cooler and some pipework modifications.
We check pipework sizings and custom design the ensuing pipework in order to ensure the system is effective as part of the free cooling package.
The Greenbox chillers have pressurised tanks as standard in order that they can be linked together to give additional cooling capacity as you expand your factory'.
Temperature control is a critical factor of any cooling process and Greenbox has accordingly developed two products to remotely monitor the cooling system.
The first system has temperature sensors at all the critical areas of the cooling system and provides a real time reading of the cooling system and also historical data.
This data is fed to a central computer that can be monitored remotely.
A second, simpler system, sends a message to the customer's mobile phone with a fault code should the chiller malfunction in any way so that issues can be resolved before impacting on production processes.
The Greenbox chillers can be supplied with up to four independent refrigeration and cooling circuits in order to give the necessary comfort factor in production.
Greenbox, supplies chilling equipment across the globe and has an enviable reputation for quality and innovation.
The company also supplies a complete range of equipment including mould temperature controllers, dehumidifiers and cap cooler.
The Greenbox chillers are true industrial chillers giving a wide spectrum of temperature control.
'One of the key assets of our partnership,' says Whitlam, 'is the capability to supply complete pipework circuit designs to processors.
We do this in order to ensure that every customer gets optimum flow and pressure at every machine on the cooling circuit.'.
