The SartoDispense software package is a complete recipe weighing system for all manufacturing industries, including the regulated pharmaceutical market where validation is key.
On the factory floor, the software links with weighing and other production equipment to offer a step by step guide for workers, reducing errors and ensuring accuracy throughout the production process.
Sartodispense controls the process of assembling raw materials, confirming their identity is correct, weighing them accurately against a recipe or formulation, labelling the weighed items, ensuring none are missed or double counted and recording the entire process.
Each weighing workstation uses a dedicated industrial PC with touch screen, which can control any number of electronics scales or balances.
The program will automatically select the correct scale based on the required weight and the capabilities of the equipment.
The PC can also control barcode scanners and laser printers for further traceability.
By controlling each part of the process, the software offers unparalleled levels of production data, allowing management to reduce giveaway, control costs and identify potential bottlenecks in the production line.
Supervisor workstations can be located in offices and on the factory floor and access live production data via a PC network.
Recipe formulations are built and edited using the supervisor module and are stored as standard in a database built in SQL server.
A wide range of weighing processes is available within the system, including container weighing, pallet weighing, counting and back weighing.
