SMF graduate, Leila Hoteit (PhD, MBA, BEng), has been short listed to receive 'The Professions Woman of the Future' award at the Women of the Future Awards at London Hilton on 9 November

An SMF graduate, Leila Hoteit (PHD, MBA, BEng), has been short listed to receive 'The Professions Woman of the Future' award at the Women of the Future Awards at London Hilton on 9 November Leila was put forward for the award by the Sainsbury Management Fellows

Presently a Management Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, Leila has a proven track record of success as a female engineer in a male dominated field.

Leila was awarded a Sainsbury Management Fellows scholarship in 2002 to study for her MBA at INSEAD.

Set up by Lord Sainsbury of Turville, Sainsbury Management Fellows help the country's top engineers acquire the knowledge and skills that will take them into the boardroom of Britain's blue chip companies or set up enterprises that will boost both local and national economies.

The SMF scholarship is highly respected within the world of engineering and awards are made to engineers who have the combination of exceptional qualifications and leadership potential.

The Professions Woman of the Future Award Leila has been nominated for recognises women who are making a significant contribution in the legal, medicine, architecture, accounting, surveying, and education professions and are destined for the top of their field.

Leila's dual technical and business background has brought her to the forefront of her profession.

This, combined with her knowledge developed by her MBA, has enabled Leila to embrace business management and it has set her on the right path to achieve her long term ambition of becoming a future leader in the industry.
