ISO standard cylinder offers long
service life

SMC offers several cylinders that conform to ISO mounting dimensions Among these cylinders is the C85 series, a stainless steel body cylinder conforming to ISO standard 6432
This series is designed for a long service life and offers dimensional interchangeability with other manufacturers' cylinders.
The long service life is achieved through the use of corrosion resistant anodised covers, abrasion resistant seals and a leak-proof assembly between the covers and the cylinder tube.
Also, the two largest bore sizes feature a replaceable rod seal, which can be quickly replaced.
In addition to the C85 series, SMC offers several other series that conform to ISO standards including the compact C55 cylinder, conforming to ISO 21287, and several cylinder series conforming to ISO 6431.
The ISO 6431 series include the C95 series, the CP95 series and the new hygienic HYC series.
