Schmersal introduces a stainless steel version of its non-contact safety sensor for monitoring safety guards in hygienic or dirty working environments where a conventional safety switch may fail
Schmersal has introduced a stainless steel version of its non-contact BNS33 safety sensor for monitoring safety guards in hygienic or dirty working environments where a conventional safety switch may be compromised The IP 69K rated unit is insensitive to soiling and designed to meet the health and safety requirements of the EN 1672-2 machine directive for the food and beverage market
The non-contact technology used in the BNS33 S eliminates the mechanical wear and misalignment problems usually associated with rugged environments.
The magnetic signal operates through stainless steel and thermoplastics, which allows greater flexibility for concealed mounting on work surfaces and in storage areas.
