Individual devices are assembled by connecting the actuating head to the mounting flange located under the front plate.
The required contact and illuminated elements are then snapped onto the contact holder and both modules (mounting flange and contact holder) are connected by means of the integrated contact securing elements.
The use of high quality glass, metals and plastics in the manufacture of the R-Series ensures that the proven features of Schmersal other control devices (such as the hygienic N-Series) have been retained and that these durable control devices and indicator lights can withstand even the most severe levels of stress, shock and vibration.
The R-Series is IP65-rated to provide protection in the most extreme ambient conditions, even during frequent activation over long periods.
ATEX-rated versions are also available for potentially explosive environments.
