A Secomak product story

Process drying specialist Secomak has re-designed its successful Mistral compressed air dryer and added a new model to the range, to meet specific application requirements

Process drying specialist Secomak has re-designed its successful Mistral compressed air dryer and added a new model to the range, providing purchasers with a greater choice according to their specific application requirements.

The Mistral and new Mistral V, which has been designed specifically to cater for cost sensitive applications, are the smallest units in the compressed air dryer series.

This makes them ideal for drying under crown caps or screw caps as well as the tops and necks of bottles and jars.

Both Mistral variants use multi-directional micro-jet nozzles which are capable of drying even the most complex product profiles.

They require no floor space as they are conveyor mounted with an adjustable leg.

Additionally, maintenance costs are low as there are no moving parts, and operational noise levels are guaranteed to be below 80dB.

The Mistral runs at a higher line speed than its counterpart, and also has additional energy saving features as standard, including extra suction extraction and an electronic Airminder control to minimise compressed air use.

These features can also be purchased as add-ons for the Mistral V.

The largest unit in the range is the Zephyr which comprises two modules and is used for all-over drying at high speeds.
