Calls for baby pneumatic cylinders, giving big brother performance, are one of the most requested demands from machine manufactures around the world: SMC Pneumatics answers this demand

For engineering applications, such as precision pick and place, the old saying that size really matters is often well heard.

Calls for baby pneumatic cylinders, giving big brother performance, are one of the most requested demands from machine manufactures around the world.

Following extensive research and development, leading automation control experts, SMC Pneumatics, have answered this demand with the recent addition of four new (baby) Compact Dual Rod Cylinders - Series CXSJ.

With the same technical specifications as their existing CXS Series, these new compact cylinders benefit from both space and weight savings of up to 20%, whilst still retaining the same high performance figures of their larger counterparts.

Currently available in bore sizes of 6, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 32, with stroke lengths from 10mm.

Their compact symmetrical design also brings additional benefits including, slide or ball bushing bearing options, multiple side auto switch mounting points, for improved visibility, and a high degree of mounting flexibility.
