The unique design of DirtCatcher Elements presents a superior alternative to inside-out filtration, preventing contaminants from falling back into a system during element changes

Schroeder Industries, a recognized leader in filtration and fluid conditioning products, introduces its DirtCatcher elements, which are outside-in flow elements featuring a patent-pending outer shell that prevents contaminants from falling back into a system during element changes The outside-in flow design provides better pleat and seam stability than inside-out design because it causes dirt loading to occur in compression rather than in tension

Fluid flowing from outside in has the effect of opening the pleats, thus avoiding undesirable pleat bunching and impeded flow that often occurs in inside-out flow elements.

Available in Excellement synthetic media, the DirtCatcher delivers all of the advantages of the original Schroeder outside-in flow elements (low pressure drop, excellent dirt retention, and high efficiency) all while completely containing the contaminants within the element outer shell.

This being the case, the run-off fluid from a discarded element is actually clean and can be captured and recycled if desired.

DirtCatcher elements possess a unique physical size, allowing OEMs to retain 100% of their after-market business.

The outer wrap can be also be private labeled.

DirtCatcher elements are available in single or double length K-size elements and are totally interchangeable with Schroeder KZ and KKZ elements.

The elements can be purchased separately or incorporated into Schroeder RT, KFT, KF3, KF8, and KT filter assemblies.
