Phil Batchelor, Group Commercial Director, explains why the Group chose Sanderson to implement its Business Intelligence solution following the latest series of acquisitions: "As one of the biggest bakery suppliers dealing with the major grocery multiples, it is vital we have instant access to sales management information such as: sales turnover, sales volume, gross margin and performance versus previous years.

The Sanderson Business Intelligence solution will enable Finsbury Foods to analyse consolidated data from all of the Group subsidiaries.
Accessible via the internet, the system has powerful reporting and analysis tools, that will also allow key users from each subsidiary to easily analyse and monitor individual business performance.
The integrated Sanderson system reduces the time taken to produce sales and financial figures, helping to improve the responsiveness and efficiency of management decision-making.
Each subsidiary will be able to produce sales figures based on the financial year of their customers as well as their own, enabling them to identify and capitalise on sales trends.

As it can be accessed remotely using a web browser, the entire Group will benefit from the extensive reporting and analysis functions in the software".
