Sealant Equipment and Engineering has introduced the Servo-Ribbon Applicator, an AC Servo-Motor and fluid-dispense valve to robotically position the valve tip at the correct angle to deliver a ribbon

Sealant Equipment and Engineering has introduced the Servo-Ribbon Applicator (SRA), a new concept in dispense-valve applicator tools It combines an AC Servo-Motor and fluid-dispense valve to robotically position the valve's tip at the correct angle to deliver a precise ribbon-shaped material pattern

While following the bead path, the SRA valve turns the dispense tip without turning the fluid-dispense valve.

This unique dispensing action significantly improves the valve's reach, material-flow rate, tip-speed and cycle time while increasing the service life of moving parts such as robot wrists, hoses and cables.

The SRA valve is ideal for fixed, automated or robotic fluid-dispensing applications with shaped-orifice fluid nozzles such as a slotted ribbon tip, fan-spray tip or a side-outlet extruded-bead tip.

It dispenses PVC sealers, epoxies, polyurethanes, paints, silicones, mastics, lubricants and other pumpable materials.

Sealant Equipment and Engineering, a leading manufacturer of precision meter/mix/dispense systems and fluid-dispense valves, is registered to ISO 9001:2000.
