Colour Change Valves improve dispense performance

A Sealant Equipment and Engineering product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Jun 1, 2007

The new 2600-019 series Colour Change Valves have improved dispensing and operating performance for the user, and include No-Drip fluid valves for colour control

The Colour Change Valve assembly consists of two or more colour valves and a flush valve which allow coloured fluids to merge into one manifold and common applicator where a selected colour is dispensed.

The manifold and applicator is flushed before each new colour is introduced.

Three design features of the 2600-019 series Colour Change Valves are Quick-Changecolour and flush valves, stainless steel wetted components and carbide needles and seats in the colour and flush control valves.

The Quick-Change design allows replacement in less than 2 minutes, stainless steel materials allows use with corrosive materials and carbide components ensure longer production life.

Colour Change Valve assemblies accept multi-coloured paints, coatings, epoxies, urethanes, silicones, PVC and a wide variety of other multi-coloured fluids where one applicator is desired.

The No-Drip Quick-Changecolour and flush valves are double air operated to ensure positive start-stop of the fluid.

Multi-coloured materials are delivered to the Colour Change Valve manifold by either a metering assembly or under regulated pressure from supply tanks or pumps available from Sealant Equipment and Engineering.

Information about the 2600-019 Colour Change Valves is available online on the website.

Sealant Equipment and Engineering produces the industry's largest selection of precision fluid dispense valves.

The company designs, manufactures and integrates precision-engineered meter-mix dispense systems and equipment to supply, proportion, control, meter, mix and dispense a wide variety of one, two and three-component adhesives, sealants, lubricants and other materials.
