To date, Canopy machines have been used for packaging water and edible oil.
The Canopy mechanical components have been transferred to the upper part of the machine to ensure operation at eye level, making the machine very accessible and easy for maintenance, while reducing fatigue and physical risk.
The pitch of the machine has been dramatically reduced and the footprint is only half the size of standard machines, thanks to a neck-transfer and a new dosing system called "Dynaflow".
The result is a more compact and efficient machine.
Electrical and control panels are housed within the machine.
The Canopy filling and capping machines are also very easy to use.
Two parameters are all that is needed to start production: the weight of the empty containers and production rate.
There is no contact between the nozzle and the bottle during filling, and the nozzle creates a laminar flow of product that greatly reduces foaming and splashing.
The drain pan is an integrated part of the machine, which is easily accessible and washable.
Its attractive price also places Canopy well below flowmeter-based competition.
Production capacity reaches 18,000 one-litre bottles per hour.
Serac will be at the Interpack trade fair at Dusseldorf from 21 to 27 April 2005 at Hall 13, booth D31.
