CorTuff the clear choice for packaging film
Global leader in manufacturing packaging film and machinery, Sealed Air, has redesigned its already successful CorTuff film and is targeting sectors to include industrial packaging and hardware
It was only last year that Sealed Air, a leading global manufacturer of materials and systems for protective presentation of food, consumer goods and industrial products, and Wrapid Packaging systems, one of the most experienced and knowledgeable of the converting and distribution businesses, decided it was time to pool their resources.
Since then, there have been just two of these quarterly awards up for grabs and the Bradford enterprise has taken them both.
Gary Wilson, who increased his sales figures by 225 per cent compared to the same quarter of 2004, has followed colleague Steve Brown in getting his hands on the award.

The achievement has delighted Colin Lovering, Sealed Air group operations manager for the shrink packaging division.
''This is a well respected award within the company and it is a great achievement for Bradford to win it twice running,'' he said.
Both Mr Lovering and his sales team suspect that it will not be the last time one country will clock up a double, but they know it is an unusual achievement: competition comes from Scandinavia, France, Italy, Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic.
The Bradford salespeople insist they have started as they mean to go on and are already intent on a hat trick.
''This is an award which has been running for a number of years, so as we have only been eligible twice, you might say we have a bit of catching up to do,'' joked Mr Lovering who said Gary's beating of his sales targets was only part of the reason for his success.
He was also working well with other members of the team and his all-round exceptional contribution during the changeover from Wrapid to Sealed Air had counted for a lot.
As for Gary he confessed to being a little surprised by his success.
He knew he had been nominated but with the Bradford base being a newcomer to the Sealed Air awards he had not really believed he stood much chance - particularly as Steve Brown took the previous title.
But his machine sales, as well as his help to colleagues, all went into the pot alongside the high level of support he provided during the transition period, particularly on pensions and contract challenges.
Gary and Steve, both down-to-earth, Yorkshire-based executives were ''well chuffed'' with the award and not least with the extra cash it puts in their pockets.
Gary has won 300 Euros, which puts one over on Steve in their friendly rivalry.
''The prize was only 200 Euros last year, so trust Gary to win when the money goes up,'' said Steve.
''But seriously, we both know that we have been helping to put Bradford firmly on the Sealed Air map.'' Sealed Air is a leading global manufacturer of a wide range of protective and speciality packaging products.
