Severn Trent Services have announced a new five-year contract to supply Ajusta bayonet boundary boxes to Yorkshire Water Services (YWS)

YWS will purchase medium density polyethylene (MDPE) tailed and push-fit connector versions Severn Trent Services is a leading UK supplier of external boundary boxes to accept water meters

The company manufactures 220,000 boundary boxes each year and have 2 million boxes installed in the UK alone.

Eighty-five percent of the boundary box components are fabricated at the company's Chesterfield headquarters.

Yorkshire Water Services manage the collection, treatment and distribution of water, supplying around 1.24 billion litres of drinking water each day.

The company also collect, treat and safely dispose back into the environment about one billion litres of waste water each day.

Yorkshire Water Services operate more than 700 water and sewage treatment works and 120 reservoirs through a grid system.

The company also operate 40,000 miles of water and sewerage mains, enough pipework to circle the earth.
