SIG Pack Systems provides more than pick and place
The SIG Delta Robot has been very positively welcomed by the market, with over 100 robots sold: now a newly designed suspension and a flexible modular system provide an even more economical solution
Such considerations include easy opening of the display package, without damaging the display part; orientation and visibility of the product inside the tray; fixation of the product within the tray; and reduction of carton material cost.
In some cases, the package is not only sent to the retailer as a display pack, but will also be sold as a family pack with a recloseable lid.
The integrated Toploader SIGTTL-iV now offers the possibility to close carton display trays with a separate lid, within a compact space saving footprint.
Further functions integrated onto the TTL-iV base frame include tray forming and toploading.
An active lidding tool includes various functions, such as folding, pressing, sticking and turning, which allow various box designs to run on the machine.
Product speeds run at up to 700/min and carton speeds up to 30/min, with gentle product handling at high speeds guaranteed by the SIGFWV feeding wheel.
High flexibility and easy access allows many different formats to be used with fast product changeovers.
An ergonomic magazine height of 950mm also allows easy recharge with blanks.
The Toploader SIGTTL-iV is designed to seamlessly integrate with the new modular SIG Systegra system, with a uniform operation and control platform for higher productivity and lower operating costs.
Simple one-touch operation is provided through ControlLogix.
