SIG Pack Services beat four other finalists in this category thanks to nominations by four of its customers, to whom it provides a range of services

SIG Pack Services has won the Processing and Packaging Machinery Association (PPMA) Award of Excellence for best customer service.

It beat four other finalists in this category thanks to nominations by four of its customers, to whom it provides a range of services.

Gary Anderton, managing director of SIG Pack Services, was presented with the John Downing Memorial Medal by PPMA president, John Clayton, at the recent Total Processing and Packaging show.

Engineers at Nestl?, McVities, Manor Bakeries and Burtons Foods all nominated SIG Pack Services for its outstanding service and particularly for its technical audits, which have lead to higher efficiencies and reduced waste levels in packaging processes.

"We are proud to receive this award," exclaimed Anderton.

"What makes it even more special is that our customers were so happy with our work, that they took the time to nominate us.

We offer customers much more than just spare parts and service engineering, so I think the SIG Pack Services team really deserves this award.".
