Sigpack wraps up golds at UK Packaging Awards

Sigpack Systems has been honoured for a third and fourth time for its unique Pull Pack flow wrapper style, at the UK Packaging Awards in September

Sigpack Systems won the 'Innovation of the Year' and 'Consumer Convenience' awards with its distinctive Pull Pack.

These accolades follow two previous prestigious award wins: the World Packaging Organisation's WorldStar 'Award for Packaging Excellence' and the 'Best Sales Packaging' award from the German Packaging Institute.

The revolutionary Pull Pack is based on a patented folding and perforating method that produces an air-tight flow wrap that can be opened with a simple tug to one end of the pack.

The short part of the pack can be used to carry added value offers such as competitions, prize draws or co-sponsorship on the pack.

Such measures are a proven means of repositioning brands or raising sales.
