'Hazardous Substances in Consumer Products' is the subject of a proposed discussion being organised by SGS United Kingdom Training Services in Camberley, Surrey on 21 June The main objective is to discuss the future of legislation and routes to compliance

A one day conference organised by the SGS Consumer Testing Services division in the UK will spotlight new and upcoming legislation in the area of restrictions to hazardous substances in consumer products.

This event will introduce the history of the current drive to minimise the use of hazardous substances in consumer products, look at the birth of awareness through some well known media cases, and consider how Germany has incorporated hazardous substances policy into national law.

SGS technical experts and industry guests will give a series of product led presentations discussing applicable UK and EU legislation, upcoming regulations and key issues for the industry.
