Zurich University visits SGS Guangzhou
branch
A study tour from Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland has recently visited the Guangzhou Branch of SGS in China
The group from ETH Zurich comprised 2 professors and 32 students, aiming to visit well-known multinational corporations within China, such as SGS, to get to know their management, organizational structures and operation situations etc During the visit, the staff made a general introduction of SGS as well as its development in China, and allowed the group to visit various product test laboratories

During the visits the students showed strong interest in product test methods and instruments considering it a great opportunity to be able to visit an authoritative testing organization like SGS and have access to relevant testing domains.
SGS also showed a strong interest in such an event, considering it a promising beginning for further cooperation and exchanges with colleges and universities of Switzerland.
