Shear-Form Machine Tools has been appointed the sole UK representative for ACMA Oleosynthese, the French coil lubrication equipment and lubricants manufacturer

Shear-Form Machine Tools, the Coventry based sheet metal and plate working machinery supplier, has been appointed the sole UK representative for ACMA Oleosynthese, the French coil lubrication equipment and lubricants manufacturer: plus they have launched a series of automated lubrication spray systems These systems comprising single or multiple spray heads with supports, fully or semi automated control units and lubricant suction diaphragm or piston pumps are designed for use on most coil processing applications using evaporable industrial lubricants on parts where degreasing is to be avoided, high performance industrial lubricants or standard industrial lubricants

The range of uses includes punching, stamping, fine blanking and cambering of a multitude of ferrous and non-ferrous steels including mild and stainless steels, aluminium.

A feature of this system is the range of spray heads available including standard mist less spray nozzles for lubricants with a wide range of viscosities and where the air and oil flow rates are controlled manually and the latest 'MultiSpray' range of mist less spray heads remotely controlled for multi applications and which can be fixed individually or as banks of 1 - 11 heads on Acma Unirail sections allowing lubrication of strip from 50mm - 2m.

wide.

'MultiSpray' heads have spraying capabilities ranging from 0.3mm - 350mm wide.

The MP-A spray head is equipped with an automatic air spray cut-off system to reduce air consumption by as much as 80%.

A series of control systems are available including Pulstronicoil Rad, a semi automated electro-pneumatic management control designed for the remote control of the lubrication parameters including head selection, timing as well as both upper and lower flow rate control and flow rate measurement and SprayControl, a fully automated electro-pneumatic management control with built in memory for different spray programs and the elimination of operator intervention.

Clive Meir, Director, Shear-Form Machine Tools said: "The products from ACMA complement our existing coil processing equipment and their coil lubrication system, that we now have to offer, is some of the most advanced available.

The economies of spray lubrication reduces manual labour costs as well as the high cost of lubricants, as less is used compared with manual applications.".
