The Sigrist RAMS (Reflection Absorption Measuring System) product monitor from Siemens Automation and Drives - Process Instrumentation and Analytics can be used for detecting phase transitions, for measuring medium to high turbidity and colour levels, and for product identification and quality control in the brewing industry The RAMS in-line unit simultaneously measures the reflection and absorption of liquids in the product pipe at four different optical wavelengths
The unit is easy to install and has features like standard in-line housings, zero-point correction with tap water, hygienic design, and it can easily be parameterised with a PC and suitable software.
