Remote dial up access for data loggers
The Signatrol claim to be the leading UK supplier of data logging equipment has been strengthened by the addition of their GSM Tri-Band SL-ACC19 modem satellite telephone link to their datalogger
Designed to work with the SL700 series of portable data loggers, the unit provides a robust satellite telephone link in areas where conventional land-lines are not installed or are unreliable Housed in a ruggedised aluminium housing, the SL-ACC accepts standard mobile SIM cards and can be powered by battery, mains adaptor or photo-cell

Assisting optimisation of sterilisation processes
The Signatrol Temp-IT universal data logging software now has F0 calculation functionality, specifically developed for the validation of anti-bacterial steam sterilisation and cooking processes
The self powered SL series of data loggers can be used to measure and record temperature, humidity, pressure, voltage, current and pulse signals.
For temperature measurement, the internal cold junction sensor can be complemented by external thermocouple and RTD sensors.
Up to seven external sensors can be connected in addition to the internal temperature sensor and sampling rates from 25 per second up to once every five days can be set.
The units can be configured either on a 'stop when full' or 'first in first out' basis.
Programming and data analysis is carried out quickly and effectively using the proprietary Windows software and data can be down loaded and either saved to disk or analysed immediately on screen.
Information is displayed in tabular or graphical format with full reporting facilities.
Data can also be incorporated into other spread-sheet packages.
The SL-ACC19 and SL series combination is ideal for remote applications in bulk storage, water and waste treatment, and other process industries.
In the bulk storage industry for instance, suppliers can use the link to dial up the logger to check levels in silos and product usage trends.
The unit can be configured to dial back to a preset location if an alarm is triggered when a silo is becoming empty.
This allows product deliveries to be optimised without the customer running out of product.
With the increase of unmanned remote sites in the water related industries, the product combination is suitable for flow, level and pressure monitoring applications.
The SL-ACC19 is part of the extensive Signatrol range of data loggers and instrumentation.
