A new range of low-smoke/low-toxic silicone rubber extrusions and seals is now available from Silicone Fabrications, meeting UL94 VO (2mm) for use wherever public safety is important
These silicone rubber extrusions and seals can be supplied in low or high volumes as extruded profiles, cord, tube and strip or as finished seals and cut gaskets Meeting smoke, gas and fire safety requirements, these materials are self-extinguishing and do not emit harmful gas when ignited like other rubbers
They are suitable for a working temperature range of -60C to +250C.
Ideal for use in construction and mass transit applications, conforming to London Underground and Eurotunnel specifications, they are also said to be essential for electronics industry companies exporting to the USA.
Standard colours are cream or dark grey.
