New Control of Noise at Work Regulations will become law on 6 April, lowering the noise level at which employers must make hearing protection available from 85dB to 80dB: adding 1M extra workers!

New 'Control of Noise at Work Regulations' will become law on 6th April 2006 The new regulations will lower the noise level at which employers must make hearing protection available from 85dB(A) to 80dB(A), resulting in an estimated one million extra workers falling under the protection of the new European Directive 2003/10/EC
