Sitrans LPS200 paddle switch and LVS200 vibrating level switch now offer high temperature, high pressure, and interface models.

These switches, previously sold as the Milltronics Pointek PLS 200 and VLS 200, provide low cost, reliable high and low level alarms for a wide variety of bulk solid applications.

Based on a proven product design, these switches are exceptionally durable, with special features including a dual bearing seal on the paddle switch that protects the mechanism from dust and moisture.

They are easy to set up and can be readily connected to an alarm or control system.

The unique friction clutch mechanism prevents damage by falling materials and avoids gear failure.

The new high temperature version of Sitrans LPS200, the rotating paddle switch, is effective up to 220 C (428 FF)) and the new high pressure version performs in environments up to 10 bar (145 psi).

Sitrans LPS200 detects full, empty, or demand conditions in materials including grain, animal feed, cement, plastic granules, and wood chips.

The standard measuring vane is effective in materials with densities as low as 100 g/l (6.25 lb/ft3).

Sitrans LPS200 can be configured with a hinged vane for increased sensitivity to materials with densities as low as 35 g/l (2.19 lb/ft3).

The paddle sensitivity can be adjusted for varying material properties.

Configurations available include a compact version, rigid extended, or cable version up to 10 meters (32 ft).

Sitrans LVS200 is a vibrating level switch that detects the absence or presence of dry bulk solids with densities as low as 20 g/l (1.3 lb/ft3).

A new interface version that detects solids in liquids and is effective in high load applications is now also available.

A pipe extension kit of up to 4 meters (14 ft), with customer supplied pipe, has been added to the product line, allowing the electronics to be separated from the process.

Fork oscillation constantly cleans the tines, and the unique patented design of the fork-and-crystal assembly eliminates false high-level readings.

Sitrans LVS200 has a compact design and can be top or side-mounted.
