SFC links up with Kazakh oil and gas
contractor
Interlock specialist Smith Flow Control has signed with Almaty-based contractor DASU, to optimise Kazakh content in the bidding for Kazakh and foreign oil and gas investment projects in Kazakhstan
Interlock specialist Smith Flow Control has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Almaty-based contractor DASU The agreement aligns the two companies together to optimise Kazakh content in the bidding process for Kazakh and foreign oil and gas investment projects under way in Kazakhstan
As part of the agreement SFC ran a 10-day programme at its UK headquarters to train DASU technicians in the design and application of interlocks, field installation and commissioning.

The training programme will qualify DASU technicians so that they will be able to offer long-term support and after-sales servicing to clients of SFC products in Kazakhstan.".
