The ET-5RS provides all of the capabilities needed to keep networks up and running, through features like traffic prioritisation and real-time fault-tolerant rings.
Therefore, network utilisation is improved, delivery of real-time data is assured, and priority assignments can be set by the user.
The Real-time Rings are self-configurable and run without the complex configuration steps required by other alternatives.
They provide a recovery time of less than 30 mS plus 5 mS per hop and allow over 50 switches to be connected in a ring.
These features are ideal for real-time, deterministic control and distributed systems.
