SKF Engineering Products has added another powerful linear actuator to its range.

"The Runner" is a compact, high performance actuator that combines high load capacity with high speeds.

It complements the other actuators in the SKF portfolio gained through its acquisition of the Magnetic Group.

"The Runner" offers users a raft of technical and functional benefits.

These include high offset load capabilities, a high push and pull force, a compact design - which weighs in at just 7.5kg and delivers quiet operation and a long lifetime.

As well as offering a stroke between 100 and 700mm, it can handle loads between 8,000 and 12,000N in combination with speeds between 4.5 and 10.5mm/sec.

The system includes a single fault safe control unit for up to three actuators as well as corresponding accessories and it is compatible with the SKF Telemag DC Series.
