The CMSS 420VT provides customers the scaleable option to expand from a stand-alone transmitter with an LED display to an extensive on-line system that can be interfaced to a control system.
"The cost advantage of this vibration transmitter, compared to others available in the market today, make this an excellent choice for facilities looking for continuous machine condition monitoring in an economic, easy-to-use solution," says Torsten Bark, SKF Reliability Systems Product Line Manager: "The installation of the CMSS 420VT simply requires mounting the transmitter directly on the measurement location on rotating machinery.
By connecting two wires you are ready to start transmitting data to your control system for an ultra low cost on-line system".
By adding the bright LED digital display to the top of the CMSS 420VT, vibration readings are instantly visible.
Additionally the buffered output is available for connection to the SKF Microlog Series data collector/analyser for detailed machine fault analysis.
SKF Reliability Systems goes beyond condition monitoring to supply reliability consulting services, including conducting maintenance strategy reviews, performing client needs analyses and designing and implementing operator driven reliability and condition-based predictive maintenance programmes.
