Critical remote control and monitoring applications will be strengthened by the simplification of text messaging over satellite and GPRS offered by SkyWave and Aztech

The Spike is a flexible, fully configurable messaging display terminal allowing users to communicate using free-form or pre-defined text messages.
In addition to the ability to transmit position information, the Spike, when combined with a SkyWave terminal, becomes the ideal tool for creating location-based services for land mobile or marine applications.
