Terminals are configured to provide the exact boat position throughout the race, reporting via the SkyWave dependable D+ communications network.

Originating 15 years ago by a group of boat owners from the Dubai Offshore Sailing Club (DOSC) and the Royal Navy of Oman, this prestigious annual race starts in Dubai and crosses challenging waters through the Straits of Hormuz and the Indian Ocean, crossing 360-miles to the finish line in Muscat.
